[The Onder Radio website will be live in December 2016]
The goal of the Onder Radio Network (ORN) is to provide compelling content that informs and entertains its listeners, illuminating some facet of the speculative media continuum. It leverages the convenience and accessibility of TWO internet technologies to engage with an active and mobile audience: PODCASTING and INTERNET RADIO BROADCASTING. The flexibility of these formats format – both in terms of delivery and consumption – make them the ideal framework for serialized content delivery to a global audience.
As its production schedule stabilizes and its audience grows, advertising and sponsorships will be introduced into each episode. The revenue streams will be further enhanced by subscriptions and memberships with access to exclusive, ad-free content.
Internet Radio Stations
ORN will be comprised of three stations delivering content 24/7/365:
ORN – Fantasy (Jan 2017)
ORN – SciFi (Mar 2017)
ORN – Horror (May 2017)
Each station will air the best audio fiction from their respective genres. In addition, programming will include interviews, panel discussions, and news appropriate for each genre.
Revenue will be generated through advertising audio spots throughout the programming feed. Additional revenue will be generated through commissions from the sale of audio content through the station websites.
Stations will be streamed and managed through Radio.co (http://radio.co)
